Thank you Aunt Mabel 2

Not long ago I had to say goodbye to my Aunt Mabel.  As I talked with the family, there were some qualities she had that we all agreed on and loved about her.  I also want those qualities in me, and therefore in my business.

She was fiercely loyal to her family.  Look, the name is Hatfield (yes, those Hatfields) – so it’s a strong trait.  It’s carried over to me also, so I will do nothing to jeopardize my relationship with my wife, children, and the rest of my family.  I also assume it’s important to you, so I won’t do anything to harm your relationship with your family either.

I have a large and – ahem – interesting family.  There are a wide variety of personalities, to put it mildly.  Regardless of the diverse characters (and I do mean characters) , she loved us all and she made each of us feel special, even when the rest of them weren’t as lovable as me.  Love is a strong word to use in business, so instead I’ll say I care about each of my clients.  I want you to feel like an important person when you walk in the door – because you are.  You will have my attention before, during, and after your appointment, and I will work to relieve whatever the problem you need addressed that day.  I want you to feel good walking out the door, and not just for the sake of good business.

She had this twinkle in her eye, and a smile on her face.  Her life wasn’t always easy.  She lived through the depression and a world war as well as the difficulties, losses, and disappointments that we each deal with.  She had made peace with the past.  That allowed her to enjoy the present and to look to the future with that twinkle in her eye, as if to say something new and good and interesting is coming.  Perhaps I picked up some of my curiosity from her.  I like to keep learning and trying new things and working them in to help my clients more and more.

There’s so much more I could tell you about her, but I’ll stop here.  I hope that when you visit Main Street Massage you will find these valuable traits in me.

I hope you are blessed with an Aunt Mabel in your life.
