An interview with my massage table 14

If you are getting tired of hearing me blab on and on, you are in luck.  Today we have a special guest interview with my massage table.

Where do you work?

I work in the massage room for Main Street Massage in Hudson.  It’s a great place to work.  It’s really quiet and warm, with relaxing music and soft lights. I provide a comfortable place for people to relax so they can get their massage.

Tell us a little about yourself

I’m really strong!  People can rest on me for their massage with confidence that I will hold them up safely and securely.  My legs are adjustable to make my height higher or lower.  That can make a big difference in how effective your massage is.

Do you have any special features?

Along with my regular cushioning, I have another layer of padding to make people even more comfortable.  I also have a warmer just under the sheets.  People love that in the cold winter months.  It lets them relax quickly since they are cozy and warm from the start.  The warmer is adjustable so each person can have the heat setting where they want it.

Do you like your job?

I love my job!

What’s so great about it?

I love having a part in helping people feel better.  Although I don’t do the work, I’m important.  I like when people come in and I can give them a place to take a break for a while.  People can escape and completely relax on me.  I like it when people feel so good that they fall asleep during their massage.  I like how people make themselves comfortable in the face cradle so they are supported and can get what they need.

When people get up after their massage, they feel so much lighter than when they came in.  It seems like they are leaving some of their problems behind.  I like noticing how they can get up and move easier when it is over.  Their posture looks better and they sometimes seem taller also.

Are there any dislikes?

I get concerned when people go too long between appointments.  I want them to get the pain relief and stress relief that they need.  I’ve seen so many people helped that I don’t want them to live with unnecessary pain or stress.

Thank you for your time.

You’re welcome.  I’m here to serve.
